She graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in Music & Video Business and successfully graduated in Catechism studies at the Bethel Chrsitian Church in Seattle, WA..  She is presently studying at the Liberty University for her B.S. degree in Christian Counseling.

Janice Shepherd grew up in the church and has been mentored by her parents Bishop Nathaniel & Dr. Addie Davis, and her aunt Suffragan Bishop Charlotte L. Beeler-Petty. She is a Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Pastor, Preacher, Gospel Recording Artist, Humanitarian, Philanthropist, Teacher, Seattle Praise The Lord Guest, Wife, school parent volunteer and Mother. Beneath her unassuming beauty, lies humility and personality and intellect. In talking with her it becomes apparent that “she understands, she’s been there, and she knows how to get out”! Her story is one of storms, triumph and prosperity.

When growing up everyone had sensed an anointing on Janice Life - It was prophesied at the age of 12 that Janice was traveling and speaking the word of God and as a baby it was prophesied she was singing - years later the word has been fulfilled although Janice had no intentions of becoming a preacher but a fashion designer and singer.  But the Lord had other plans - and look what the Lord has done.

Janice Shepherd is the 7th of 13 brothers and sisters raised in Seattle, Washington, they all grew up in the church and have dedicated their lives to Christ and they all support her in the ministry.   Her Second oldest brother, Suffragan Bishop Thomas Davis, pastors in Anchorage, Alaska.  Her life was filled with laughter  she had a loving family and stable home life and grew up in the church.  At the age of nine, she began singing in the church faithfully and loyally worked in the church.

She served on almost every committee in the church, women’s ministry, youth officer, youth newsletter, Sunday School bus ministry, hospitality, started a youth choir at the age of 13 and was well respected by her peers and adults, through the great success of the youth choir at age 14 was asked by her brother Elder Walter Davis, to join the church adult radio choir and become one of the assistant directors.  She was apart of the usher board, video production, kitchen help, ministerial staff and many more.  What ever work was needed she offered her assistance because she loved God and loves to serve people.

At the age of Nine, Janice dedicated her life to Christ and received the Holy Spirit at 2:00 a.m. in the morning which is an experience she will never forget.

Janice began ministering in the inner cities of Seattle, by the early 70's & 80's to the low income housing development on Saturdays to minister with the parents whose children attended Sunday school at the Bethel Christian Church- Seattle, WA.  She would go to their homes, pray and minister with them.  Eventually a large percent of the children and parents began attending the Sunday morning services as well.  She would ride the Sunday school bus for many years with Deacon King Rainwaterwho was faithful and loyal to the ministry.  She sang Sunday school songs and kept the children entertained.  She has had the opportunity to serve as the minister of music at her aunt Suff. Bishop Charlotte L. Beeler-Petty, church - Risen Faith Fellowship in Olympia, WA.  There she grew in ministry and was also mentored by her aunt as well.

Janice's journey from; growing up in the church, serving people and experiencing the abundant life, she is a true servant of God.   Her personal life’s storms, motivates her to touch people who are in need of strength & encouragement, healing and to win souls that do not know Christ as their personal savior.

“She knows that life is filled with challenges and opportunities and believe that God wants us to face adversity equipped to win. God wants us to turn our stumbling blocks into stepping stones.”   She is a dynamic speaker with great compassion and you can feel her sincerity for souls when she ministers the word of God.  She ministers the Word of God that is full of faith – faith to take you from the “familiar” and move you into the future. “Faith causes change. Anytime there is change, there is opportunity.  That includes the opportunity to grow more and see more and be more. Yes, it also includes the opportunity to fail,”   “But failure can be a step along the way to the completion of a goal. You can fail your way to success”.   ..

Acts 10:34 tells us that God is no respecter of persons. That means that anyone, (yes, anyone) can be used by God as long as they yield themselves to His will. Janice triumph over her extreme fear of speaking has become her destiny as a powerful, anointed vessel of God.

Today, Janice Davis is an inspiration to thousands around the country who seek God’s love and compassion.
